Overview of the Traceability Standards System

In the context of globalization and increasing demands on food safety, traceability has become a mandatory requirement for businesses exporting agricultural, aquatic and food products. Vietnam has issued 35 TCVN standards along with the application of international standards such as ISO 22005, GLOBALG.AP, HACCP to meet the requirements of demanding markets such as the EU, US, and Japan.

💡 Why is it necessary to comply with traceability standards?
  • Meet mandatory requirements when exporting to EU (EUDR), US (FSMA 204), Japan (JAS)
  • Increase prestige and product value in the international market
  • Effective food safety risk management
  • Optimizing manufacturing processes and supply chains
  • Protecting brands and consumers
